Wellness Classes
Our Women’s and Men’s Programs include Wellness classes led by Dr. Samantha Desmond, Naturopathic Physician and Licensed Mental Health Counselor. Dr. Desmond discusses what the brain needs to rewire itself in order to combat depression, anxiety and cravings. In user-friendly language, she explains the physiology of addictions, cravings, and positively rewiring the brain. Dr. Desmond offers a clear and straightforward explanation of how food affects mood and provides simple nutritional suggestions for increasing energy, mental clarity, and achieving optimal wellness.

Referred to by one patient as the “Pendragon of Healthcare” due to her efforts to unite the different silos of our healthcare system, Dr. Samantha Desmond is leading the charge in what is possible in quality and cost-effective healthcare for patients through rational integrative healthcare applications. After working in different healthcare provider roles for over 16 years and interacting with the larger system professionally, personally, and through her patient’s experiences, Dr. Desmond focuses her attention on what will best serve her patients throughout the entirety of their lives in addition to the current moment.
