Family Support

Although our primary focus for care is aimed at our clients, we recognize the need for healing within the entire system. Family members, friends, partners and parents often hold emotional weight from having walked alongside their loved one through ongoing struggles with substances. Our family offerings provide education and coaching, including evidence-based skills to support family members in this early phase and throughout the recovery process. It is through these programs that the whole family system can forge an independent path toward healing.

Family Workshop

For loved ones of our clients

Our one-day family workshop offers family members the chance to experience some aspects of the program while connecting with others who have walked a similar path. This Workshop focuses on breaking long-standing, maladaptive patterns of relational dynamics to allow for healing and repair for whole family system. Born out of the CRAFT model, areas of focus for our workshop include prioritization of self-care, healing emotional pain, facilitation of healthy communication, and recognizing and changing old relational patterns that keep family members stuck in the past. Cost of workshop is included with each client’s tuition. Snacks, refreshments, and lunch are provided.

Family members are welcome to attend a family workshop anytime throughout the length of the program with many choosing to attend the workshop in the beginning phase of treatment as their loved ones embark on their journey forward in recovery.

Open to the General Public

Designed for family members in need of knowledge, tools and support for navigating a relationship with someone who struggles with addiction. Our ongoing Support Group provides monthly in-person group sessions that delve more deeply into the CRAFT curriculum and creates a space for group support and peer connection. Our full curriculum spans 12 months and members are asked to commit to 3 months at a time. These groups are optional and are subject to an additional fee. Please contact us for more additional information.

Family Program

In each stage of recovery, we recognize the importance of whole-family healing and offer a therapeutic and supportive setting to begin that healing process.

“The best thing for me was the fact that everyone in the group actually wants to quit using. The group is not filled with people that have been court ordered to go to therapy and have no real interest in quitting using. I also like the fact that this isn’t a 12 step program.”
