For Professionals

Do you have clients who want help for addictive behaviors but are uncomfortable with Alcoholics Anonymous or the 12-step model for themselves?

A Positive Alternative receives many calls from health care professionals and researchers who are interested in alternative approaches to a 12 step model for addiction treatment. They are often researching other approaches or find that a 12-step model is not a good fit for their clients.

We welcome questions and discussion with other professionals. Our Resource Coordinator and our Director are happy to take the time for a conversation or an in person visit. It has always been a priority at APA to work closely with our colleagues in Seattle and around the country. We appreciate exchanging ideas and keeping up to date with the latest use of evidence-based treatment strategies that most effectively meet client needs. We encourage dialogue and networking and look forward to your call. 206 547-1955
